ISA at Fuorisalone 2026: the Brera Design District, SpazioISA and partnerships of excellence | ISA

At Fuorisalone 2026, ISA reaffirms its leading role in Milan Design Week with a comprehensive programme of installations, spaces and experiences that illustrate the evolving dialogue between professional refrigeration, design and design culture. A widespread journey through some of the city’s most iconic locations – from the City of Ideas in the Brera Design District to SpazioISA, from the Faema Flagship Store to the collaboration with AA Consultant – to give shape to a contemporary vision of living and hospitality, where technology, customisation and design quality come together.

Genesis and the City of Ideas: ISA at the heart of the Brera Design District

From 21 to 26 April, ISA will be present within the “City of Ideas” installation at Solferino 28, in the Brera Design District, a project promoted by CairoRCS and designed by architect Mario Cucinella. In this setting of great cultural and architectural significance, the company presents two Special Editions of Genesis, embodying ISA’s dual identity: excellence in professional refrigeration and a commitment to bespoke design.
Genesis is a multifunctional refrigerated cabinet that blends seamlessly into diverse settings such as contract, hospitality, business and high-end residential environments – thanks to extremely quiet technology that preserves the comfort of the space – transcending the traditional concept of a refrigerated product to become a distinctive element of contemporary interior design. The external surfaces become a design feature with premium finishes, whilst the interior is organised with solid wood dividers and modular shelves for wines, drinks, snacks and more.
Genesis 180 stands out for its external finish in porcelain stoneware and solid wood interiors with modular shelves. For Fuorisalone, it introduces a new function dedicated to cigar storage, thanks to a precise temperature control system (+16 °C / +20 °C) and humidity control (65–75%), designed to ensure optimal and constant conditions.
Genesis 120, presented in a version with a more pop and contemporary aesthetic, is the result of a collaboration with Rezina: a textured Grain surface in Klein blue and details in Dedar fabric transformed into a structural element. Designed with an internal configuration that accommodates new daily wellness rituals, it allows for the ideal storage of functional drinks and cosmetic products, without compromising on the elegance of the piece of furniture.
Set within a new installation designed specifically for the City of Ideas, the two Genesis units interact with the architecture of the installation, highlighting the theme of bespoke design as a means of anticipating market needs and interpreting increasingly diverse lifestyles. Two objects that transcend the traditional concept of a refrigerated product to establish themselves as elements of advanced interior design, an authentic synthesis of function, aesthetics and design culture.

SpazioISA: an experiential hub dedicated to design and bespoke solutions

Throughout Milano Design Week, SpazioISA Milano – at 23 Via Morimondo, in the creative heart of the Navigli district – will be open to the public, reaffirming its role as a venue for architects, designers, clients and industry professionals to meet, exchange ideas and plan projects.
The showroom, situated within a highly significant urban regeneration project, represents the most authentic expression of ISA’s approach to bespoke design: a space that is not merely an exhibition area, but an experiential one, designed to showcase materials, technologies and tailor-made solutions.
On 23 April, SpazioISA will host an open-house event from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm, conceived as an informal opportunity for networking and discovery. Thanks to the collaboration with the Callebaut Chocolate Academy, guests will be able to enjoy a convivial experience with a tasting of artisanal ice creams in unique flavours, confirming ISA’s attention to detail and the sensory experience.

ISA & Faema: “Affinity by nature”, a shared vision of the contemporary bar space

As part of Milan Design Week 2026, ISA is taking part in the “Affinity by Faema” project at the Faema Flagship Store in Via Forcella 7, a concept that reimagines the bar space as a dynamic ecosystem, where coffee becomes the hub of a network of connections between design, culture and people. Within Affinity, every element contributes to the creation of a fluid and constantly evolving experience, capable of going beyond mere function to generate authentic connections.
The collaboration between Faema and ISA is expressed through a project that places the value of space at its heart: not merely a functional space, but an environment designed to welcome, engage and foster interaction. For Design Week, the two companies have developed an exclusive bar counter, conceived as an architectural and narrative element, in which technology, materials and proportions combine to define a new concept of centrality. In this context, the coffee machine is no longer an isolated object, but an integral part of a coherent system, in dialogue with the ISA-designed furnishings. The result is a comprehensive vision of the hospitality space, where aesthetics and functionality intertwine naturally and the design becomes a tool for enhancing everyday gestures, the moment of the break and the convivial atmosphere.
To reinforce this narrative, on 22 April from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm, the Faema Flagship Store will host a Live Talk between ISA and Faema, a discussion dedicated to the concept of “Affinity” as a design, cultural and strategic affinity within the Ho.Re.Ca. sector. An open dialogue on how design, innovation and a shared vision can help redefine the role of the contemporary café space, transforming it into a place of connection, identity and experience. Following this, a special Happy Hour will enliven the Faema space, enriched by the presence of street artist John Blond, who will perform live on posters and at the photo booth. An event that brings together design, art and connection, reinforcing the value of collaborations as a creative driving force.
The synergy between ISA and Faema thus interprets the concept of Affinity as a design and cultural affinity: a sharing of values that translates into environments capable of portraying coffee not merely as a product, but as a social experience, a contemporary ritual and a moment of connection.
