Great results for the first Gelato Festival America tour that has made 4 stops around the States – Boulder, Santa Barbara, Scotsdale, Tucson – from end-September to 5th December.
A lot of good artisan gelato, created with fresh ingredients every day, has distributed during each stage. The gelato chefs from all over the world created unique and original gelato flavours, communicating the italian gelato world!
These are the winners of the 4 stages:
- Boulder – Gianluigi Dellaccio of Dolci Gelati in Washington DC with Honey, Mascarpone and Figs flavour.
- Santa Barbara – Maurizio Melani of gelateria Véneta in Valencia with Sicily Orange Sunshine flavour, (Sicilian oranges, fresh mint and cardamom).
- Scotsdale – Walter Bergamaschi of Gelato and Grocery Dolce Vita in Mesa (AZ) with Stupify flavour, a cream with the addition of crispy biscuits, spices and a final caramel casting.
- Tucson – Eugenia Sardelli of Gelateria Sardelli “Il Mio Gelato” in Tuscan with Fior d’Arancia flavour, a blend of milk and cream mixed with Sicilian orange and dark chocolate.
