ISA’s Gelatomix opens the curtain
Cups, ice-cream dishes on plates and the processing of chocolate are increasingly carried out directly in the in the ice-cream parlour, often in the “work shop” or in a specially outfitted “corner”, but out of sight of the customers.
But if you think about it, if these operations were carried out by expert hands and in front of the clients, this could become a moment of genuine exhibition of the iceman’s professional skills.
ISA, based in Bastia Umbra, thought of this and once again has shown that it knows how to respond promptly to all the trends involving the catering field in general and fresh ice-cream in particular.
The Gelatomix module was created precisely in order to enable ice-cream to be presented in a more original and more attractive manner, whether in a cone, in a cup or on plate. A further point of attraction for your ice-cream parlour!
To all effects and purposes, the Gelatomix module is a refrigerated work top, designed so as to have everything needed when preparing these concoctions close at hand, in special containers, and above all to give an image of tidiness and hygiene.
Thanks to the possibility of integrating it into the showcases of the Platinum Line and connecting it up to the latter, Gelatomix can be placed right next to the ice-cream show case, in perfect continuity with it. This means that its inclusion will not interfere in any way with the overall look of the furnishing, but will become an original part of it.
The Gelatomix module is 170 cm long and has a stainless steel top with a marble refrigerated plate (cm. 100 x 54), characterised on four sides by a handy drip pan. The cooling system, based on air and absolutely independent, incorporated in the module, can be either made to run or de-activated (also for de-frosting), regardless of whether the other cases are functioning. The plate is cooled (static and “shell” system) by means of a coil running along the underneath of the work top.
Naturally ISA has optimised all the available room, so that the module is completed by two cylindrical stainless steel containers (diameter 18 cm) heated in a water bath, for containing products ideal for warm toppings (chocolate or sauces), while on the side facing the public there is room for a suitable number of “Gastronorm” tubs containing all sorts of other decorations (from chunks of fruit to biscuits, from crunchy toppings to pieces of chocolate), available in the sizes 1/9 and 1/6.
Lastly, in the back of the showcase, the module has a removable shelf and a scoop washer with its own spray head, so as to make cleaning easier and to guarantee the utmost hygiene.
